The Pharos Customer Services Kiosk is a self-service station that allows library patrons to deposit cash into their accounts to pay for print, copy, and other fee-based library services. Powered by Pharos Uniprint®, the Customer Services Kiosk can interface directly with the popular Library Management Systems, such as those offered by SirsiDynix and Innovative Interfaces.
A patron with an existing account can use the Kiosk to add value to it, while a guest can create and put funds into a temporary account. Librarians can easily review the amount that’s in the Kiosk’s cash box, and quickly empty it at the appropriate time.
Simple navigation, straightforward menu choices, and a touchscreen interface make the Kiosk very easy to use. And it enables librarians to concentrate on their core tasks, rather than serving as cashiers.
