Save Money with Print Optimization Software and Services

Pharos Systems helps libraries save money by making it easy to recover the costs of printing and copying. We make it easy both for libraries and their patrons. Patrons can walk up to a printer, copier, or multifunction device and swipe their LMS-linked library card to initiate and pay for print/copy services. Pharos Uniprint® software takes care of all of the tracking, charging, and accounting functions.

Uniprint also powers the Customer Services Kiosk and SignUp, our library computer reservation system. The Kiosk is a self-service station that allows patrons to review and add funds to their library accounts, which they can use to purchase print/copy services, pay fines, etc. Patrons can quickly and easily manage their accounts without requiring assistance from a librarian. SignUp enables libraries to create an automated, self-service PC reservation system, which ensures fair access for all users. Both SignUp and the Customer Services Kiosk allow librarians to focus on their core tasks, rather than spending valuable time policing computer use or handling patrons’ cash transactions.
